In dispatch and logistics, where the transition to Factory Assistant has now been completed, the benefits are clearly noticeable. The work is faster, more organised, and the possibilities keep expanding.
In the surface grinding and milling departments, we’re still right in the middle of the transition. The focus here is first on replacing, like for like, the functionality that used to run in FileMaker, before making full use of Factory Assistant’s additional capabilities. As a result, colleagues in these departments don’t yet notice the full difference, but in the long run Factory Assistant will bring real benefits here too.
What stands out: the longer a department works with Factory Assistant, the clearer the difference becomes. Exactly what Chris was hoping for when he started building it.
