Around six months ago, we introduced Ramon to you. Since then, he has not only grown significantly in his role as a CNC machinist, but has also started a training programme.

“I am following the BBL programme in All-round Machining (MBO Level 3). I spend one day a week at college and the rest of the week working at Willpro. What I enjoy is that at college you work with many different techniques and machines. This gives you a much broader foundation than just the work you do every day.

Alongside my work, I am involved in theology. I enjoy continuing to study it, but I do not want to make a living from it. That’s why I consciously chose a technical career path. If I commit to learning something, I also like to work towards a recognised qualification. The combination of working and learning at Willpro is therefore a great opportunity for me.”

“What I learn at college on Thursday often comes back in practice the very next day. For example, material properties, calculations, or machine components. At the same time, the practical experience I gain at work helps me during my lessons. The combination works really well.”
