In the photos, you can see the different machining stages of our tip blades for a scrap shear, up to the point where they are sent to heat treatment.
We start with a solid block of tool steel. At this stage, we carry out the 3-axis machining operations and work according to our own technical drawings, including carefully calculated machining allowances.

After heat treatment, the material always undergoes slight distortion. This is unavoidable with tool steel. Thatās why we already take this into account during the pre-machining stage.
Following heat treatment, the blades are ground and brought precisely to size according to the customerās specifications. And those dimensions are critical:
each blade must fit perfectly into the shear. The tolerances determine both performance and service life.
Precision is not achieved in a single step, but throughout the entire process, from pre-machining to final grinding.
